The mobile application eOsebna enables contactless use of the electronic personal identity card. The contactless connection operates via NFC protocol. The electronic identity card comprises three digital certificates on the chip of the identity card issued in the Republic of Slovenia. The digital certificate for signing and the digital certificate for high-level authentication are protected by a PIN code, while the digital certificate for low-level authentication allows login without entering a PIN code.
Once you have the mobile application eOsebna installed on your mobile device, you can log in to any service through SI-PASS, where you select the login method with the electronic identity card and mobile application. By scanning the QR code, you can also log in from another device, such as a personal computer, without the need for additional installation or adjustments.
With the mobile application eOsebna, you can edit, review, store, or delete settings and details of your electronic identity card. You can activate your identity card, change its PIN code, or unlock it with a PUK code.
